The Abu Garcia Veritas comes with Nano-Technology. When making this rod we focused on the most important factors of making a quality fishing rod, balance and strength. The Veritas series of rods provide extreme lightweight design and focus solely on the balance and compression strength anglers must have. The new Nano-Technology manipulates graphite on an atomic level for improved compression strength. Now you can count on your rod to stand up to nicks and dings that make other rods snap under pressure. The Veritas comes with high density EVA handles for more durability and comfort, and a one piece double aluminum screw down design creates a secure connection. The Abu Designed Extreme Exposure Reel Seats provide increased blank contact and sensitivity. The Veritas also comes with Titanium allow guides with SiC inserts that create a lightweight, balanced blank design, and a Texas-Rigged hook keeper for all bait applications. The VRS66-5 is a 6 foot 6 inch spinning rod.

Abu Garcia 1-Piece Vendetta Series Baitcast Rod Review

Abu Garcia 1-Piece Vendetta Series Baitcast Rod Feature

• 1-piece baitcast rod precisely balanced to match Abu Garcia's baitcast reels
• Creates perfect harmony between rod and reel for better feel and control
• 30-ton graphite construction reduces weight and increases sensitivity
• High-density EVA handle; Fuji ACS and VSS soft-touch reel seat
• Texas-rigged hook keeper; available in several lengths and powers

Factory balancing a rod isn't a top-secret science; it's simply a step most manufacturers choose to ignore. Enter the Abu Garcia Vendetta one-piece baitcast rod, which is precisely balanced to meet the weight and specifications of the company's baitcast and spinning reels. The balanced system creates the perfect harmony between rod and reel, allowing for greater sensitivity and control without causing undue fatigue. The Vendetta is made using 30-ton graphite, a superior graphite grade that produces a lighter rod with increased sensitivity. The higher the tonnage, the stiffer the fibers used in the construction of the rod. As a result, the rod efficiently transmits vibrations to your hand, so you can feel more strikes.

The rod is also comfortable to hold, with a high-density EVA handle and a Fuji ACS and VSS soft-touch reel seat. Other details include a one-piece, double-anodized aluminum screw down that creates a secure connection; Pac Bay guides with SiC inserts; and a Texas-rigged hook keeper for all bait applications. Vendetta rods are available in a variety of lengths and rod powers.

About Abu Garcia
Originally a watch factory, Abu Garcia was founded in Svangsta, Sweden, near the Morrum River in 1921. Founder Carl August Borgstrom was a clever craftsman with a talent for light precision engineering. The company originally manufactured pocket watches, telephone timers, and taxi meters until World War II, when the demand for taxi meters sharply declined. Undaunted, Abu Garcia redirected its skills toward the development of precision fishing reels, eventually receiving the honor of being chosen "Purveyor to the Royal Swedish Court"--a distinction bestowed upon a select group of manufacturers who consistently exceeded the court's high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Abu Garcia remains firmly committed to maintaining its industry leadership position by providing anglers everywhere with the highest-quality, most-innovative products.
